REHEARSALS
- All rehearsals will commence promptly at 19.45 on a Wednesday and Thursday unless otherwise stated on the rehearsal schedule. Please note you should expect to attend rehearsals twice a week, unless noted differently on the rehearsal schedule.
- Rehearsals will be at the rehearsal room, on Wednesdays at St Johns Church, Gills Hill Lane, Radlett, WD7 8DD and Thursdays at Aldenham War Memorial Hall, Grange Lane, Letchmore Heath, Aldenham, WD25 8DY unless stated otherwise. A rehearsal schedule will be sent out shortly after auditions are completed, so everyone can check when they are required to attend.
- There is no one day that is considered principal or ensemble day although we will do our best to be as kind as possible when it comes to the rehearsal schedule, but please note that this particular production of the show is going to be a team effort unlike the original production that is mainly just the leads.
- Sunday rehearsals are a necessity for everyone involved in this production. Please note that attendance at rehearsals for which you are called is necessary and a register will be taken.
- Sunday rehearsal dates – keep free!: Likely the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd February
- Rehearsal Break: We will try to schedule rehearsals around any known absences (e.g. holidays) but anyone who misses three or more other rehearsals risks being asked to step out of certain scenes/musical numbers, or being asked to leave the show unless the Committee accepts that there are exceptional extenuating circumstances.
- If you are unable to attend a rehearsal for which you are called, please contact our Production Managers as soon as reasonably possible, and if on the day by 12.00pm on weekdays, 11am on Sundays at the latest so that we can plan accordingly.
- If you are absent from a blocking rehearsal, please ask a fellow cast member to take notes for you and liaise together between rehearsals.
